Berlin to Copenhagen 6th to 16th June 2016
On the whole the directions and signposts were very good. The only difficulties we had were on page 25 finding our way from Ravensbruck to our hotel in Furstenberg; page 77 Hotel Strandhaus am Inselsee is 5 km outside Gustrow. We arrived at 12 noon and our luggage did not come till 4pm. need to advise guests to pack swimming things and a change of clothes in panniers of bike so one can enjoy the lake or cycle into Gustrow to sightsee as soon as one arrives at the hotel. page 104 Hotel Liselund is too far out of town to enjoy rwstaurants in Nykobing in the evening; page 123 it would be good to stay in Stege rather than 4mk outside the town. Again we did not have time to explore the town or eat in the restaurants there. page 130 we got lost after Rekkende and did not find Skibinge. We cycled along the main road to Praesto. Directions on page 132 are not clear and some signposts are missing. it would be good to have a map holder on the front of the bikes so we could see the directions easily and perhaps a carrier for a water bottle on the frame too.
