An enjoyable trip
The introduction was excellent as we were taken through all aspects carefully. The guidebook and maps were not good enough. The route had changed in places from when the book was written, there were a number of significant errors, inconsistent uses of terms such as intersection and directing left when it should have been to the right. We did make it to each hotel but it took a lot more time than it should. Hotels were excellent, transport of luggage excellent. We had some problems with the bikes. The gears were not well adjusted nor some of the brakes and some parts became loose and needed to be tightened on the way - handle bars and seat.
However, when we had a problem with an item left in a hotel, the tour operator was able to help us. An enjoyable and memorable trip.
