Please note Michael was very helpful as was the team during the ride. A few things to note that we disappointed with did about the tour: The bike pick up was noted as a 20 minute walk and it would have actually taken us over an hour to get there by foot.The bus ticket provided took us to a bus station we had no idea where to go after.So after 1/2 hour we ended up taking a 20 Euro cab ride to get there. The bike person was not really helpful -by way of example he did not suggest we check our bikes and we had to ask him to put on water bottle holders or we would not have had them This was bizarre based on the nature of our trip. This seemed to be a bit of extra effort for him. Then in Lintz the seat broke on the bike which made it unrideable and it had major squeaking noises in the front wheel which took too long and way too much effort to get corrected. Our cab costs were supposed to be reimbursed for getting to the repair store but we have not seen that done on our credit card yet. We liked the fabulous location of Zur Post Hotel in Melk however our room was the worst room of the trip and was not in any way deluxe. We did see other bigger rooms with better light which is how we know our room was so awful. the Ardagger Stift, Schloss Durnstein were hotel highlights - highly recommend them. The directions into some of the locations were very unclear - some directions could be tricky due to translating to English perhaps but they were not helpful many times, particularly when getting close to Vienna and directions from the cycle path to Vienna. Without Google maps we would have been lost. Michael planned a really good route for us and we appreciated that and he was excellent in telling us that the ferry was available to take when I sprained my ankle - another highlight of the trip was this ferry ride. We would like to book another trip with rad reisen and hope that these comments will help. Thank you. Once we confirmed with the hotel that they did have vacancy Michael was able to book them for us but this was wasted time on our part.
