Tauern Circular Tour - Salzburg to Salzburg
Fantastic tour! Breath-taking scenery in the mountains, with some challenging climbs. Mixed quality of accommodation - would pick out the Hotel Zur Post for exceptionally good service and definitely the best breakfasts. Unfortunately, the hotel in the Zell Am See region had cancelled our booking for some reason which caused delays in getting into our rooms. Sadly, this hotel was also extremely noisy from early in the morning until late at night. However it had a vey nice restaurant, which we used both nights we stayed. In terms of the itinerary, it was well paced, with the exception of the day we visited Krimml falls - it was a pretty long day, taking into account the train ride, hourly bus service to the falls, time at the falls and then a 60km cycle ride back to the hotel. We would recommend a detour to the Bluntautal Valley at Golling for a particularly beautiful outing. We will definitely use Rad & Reisen again.
