we were very happy with our tour. It was well organized and led us through some choice countryside. The equipment and guides were very suitable. In our group of four, we used our differing styles to guide us each day. My style was to ignore the wordiness of the directions, and to follow the arrows. For the most part, that worked well, when the readers of our group confirmed my choices. On our last day, from Treviso to Mestre, we felt we needed more arrows, for guidance and confirmation. Perhaps some of the arrows had been removed. Before we began our first tour with R und R, we would have appreciated one more email just before we were to begin, to reassure us about how we were getting our bikes and how we would get started. It would have been helpful to us to see the guides beforehand. Luca provided a personal and thorough introduction, which we appreciated very much. All in all, we were very pleased and would love to do another bike trip like this again.
