Our tour guide
Hester was our tour guide and it was her first week. Her English was poor and she did notcommunicate well with the Americans, Canadians or ourselves at all. We learned very little from her about the places we were cycling through compared to our two other tour guides on previous trips. She communicated better with the Dutch and Germans in our opinion. No inccidents occurred thankfully as she did not appear to be of a disposition to handle an emergency. Her comment about Willebrok having nothing in it but "a smelly dog and a jukebox" was quite disconcerting as we had paid a considerable amount of money for this holiday and negative comments like that did not endear the experience.
