Biking with my teenage kids
We all had an excellent time during our Vienna to Budapest bike. The biking is not too difficult as the route has no big hills and it is not too far each day, but we still got great exercise and the shower at the end of the biking day felt great. Most of the hotels and towns on the tour were really nice, we especially liked Bratislava and Esztergom. However the first stop in Bad Deutsch-Altenburg we did not like or understand why to even stop there. The hotel has no air conditioning or even a fan - it was hot and the town is non-existent. I would think Hainburg just a few km. away would be a better stop.
