Brussels to Brugges
It was a beautiful ride, through very pretty countryside, with delightful towns and cities. Much of the route was beside waterways, with working barges to add interest. One of the many highlights of the trip was riding through the forest, with the sun shining through the trees to play on the forest floor, as we left Brussels.Our bicycles arrived early, which gave us extra time on our first day. The bicycles had been so well prepared that we didn’t even need to adjust the seat hieght.The ride was harder than expected, because of the constant headwind.
