Augsberg to Verona - Canadian Group Anderton/ Macdonald
A challenging ride due to much rain and unseasonable cold. Our only significant problem was the lack of map books in English...... each rider needs one copy!
Directions were complex and difficult to follow. A few ’angels’ helped us out along the way.
The Verona stay - 2 nights - was outstanding. Most hotels gave good service but the Imst hotel was so far out of town there was nowhere else to go but hang out in rooms filled with cigarette smokers.
Bike repairs were attended to efficiently but reimbursement from INN TOURS has not yet been received.
All in all a good trip through some lovely scenery and well maintained pathways.
