Scenic Northern Italy
The tour company provided excellent documentation in English (the best we had in 5 tours). The pre tour briefing was also the best and most comprehensive. All the hotels were excellent as were the breakfasts. The scenery on the first day was a bit monotonous (we had already ridden into the south tyrol) but after that it was fantastic. We got seriously lost getting out of Pescheria on Lake Garda but google maps came to our rescue not before we had met heavy traffic on the way to Garda Land. The hotel in Verona provided a free shuttle to get in to see the opera. Padua was a little gem of a place could have stayed there longer. Staying in mestre was a good choice as it is very relaxing and not as crazy as Venice. Its close enough to do day trips into Venice and cheap enough if you buy the public transport travel pass. All in all a great trip.
