It was a terrific tour; great route, beautiful scenery and fantastic towns to visit. We were all thrilled that the hotels were all in the central altstadts. Thomas was very responsive to our needs. My only suggestion for improvement is that at the initial orientation, Thomas should pass out the maps and books BEFORE he begins his presentation. That way, people can follow along as he goes through the materials (maps, step-by-step instructions, etc.). The step-by-step instructions were very good, except the instructions were completely WRONG when you approach Haltstatt. Also, the orange arrows were very difficult to see; a brighter color or dark background on the orange arrow stickers would make them easier to see. It was a sold Level 2 ride. As always, I still think it is important that EACH PARTICIPANT receive a complete set of maps and instructions. We do not ride as a group and many of us ride as singles, or with different people throughout the days.
