A fun and easy way to explore the Mosel wine region
This cycle tour was a great way to see the Mosel and enjoy the villages and wines. The riding was easy and the route markings mostly clear. It’s a popular cycle area, but we didn’t feel it was overcrowded or too commercialized. The accommodations were better than expected (with one exception) and we were always greeted and fed well. The bikes were in good condition and we had no mechanical problems. On the last day’s ride, would recommend taking the optional paths above the railroad when possible, and riding into Koblenz from the left side of the river for least traffic.
