Touring Portugal
Overall, Portugal was a nice visit. Great accommodation and good food were a nice touch and appreciated. Having a GPS was great and well used. We have now done about 12 tours in Europe and we would rate this a good tour but in the bottom third.
A poor briefing and incorrect documents also not received until too late into the tour did affect an otherwise fairly interesting bike tour from Porto to Lisbon. The tour also has three transfers in the midst of it for unknown reasons probably poor road conditions or traffic? Those make the tour less of a cycling experience. On one day we were expected to walk our bikes through deep sand for about 30 minutes which we found out afterwards others had managed to avoid by cycling around the area.
