Salzburg gets hotter and hotter
we had a fantastic time, cycling from Salzburg via the Saalach loop to Kaprun and then from Krimml via the Salzach to Salzburg. the weather got better, and hotter, each day and the landscape was just beautiful. Aside from a group of four Germans (who were friendly but whose English was as sparse as our German), we saw few others on our tour, and no sign of anyone from Rad & Reisen - it would have been helpful to have some guidance on getting out of Salzburg (the map wasn’t small scale and part of the path was closed for a charity event) and warnings of diversions and closures because of roadworks along the way. as a result we had a few missed turnings but the countryside views and fresh air made up for it
