Berlin to Copenhagen Cycle
We enjoyed our cycling trip very much and had many good experiences with the trip and accommodations. A couple of suggestions for improvement would be: 1. Hotel Liselund in Nykobing/Falster was not up to the same standards as other accommodations and you might try to find something better; 2. The written directions for the route from the big bridge crossing just outside of Copenhagen to the downtown hotel were very poor and should be rewritten; 3. The handlebar bags supplied by Mecklenburg are not big enough to handle Bikeline books, or even the books that Mecklenburg supply, properly. The bags need to be a few cm wider; and 4. the instructions for return of the bicycle told us to return the bikes to the Mecklenburg representative in Copenhagen between 4 and 5 pm but he did not arrive and did not leave other instructions. We finally phoned him and he told us where to leave the bikes for him to pick up later. We wasted over 1.5 hrs waiting for him. This could have been handled better by them.
