How do I plan my cycling holiday along the Elbe Cycle Route?

If you are inexperienced, we recommend choosing shorter distances to begin with. As a beginner, you can estimate to travel six miles per hour. When booking your first holiday, plan with a maximum of 31 miles per day. You can extend the distances for your next holiday.

What type of clothes do I need to cycle along the Elbe?

With Eurocycles, you benefit from luggage service. Therefore, you can pack for all eventualities. For your day tours, we recommend wearing three layers: comfortable underwear, warm clothes and weather-resistant trousers and coats. To upgrade your outfit, you can buy special cycling shoes and functional (padded) shorts. Also, remember to wear a fitted helmet when cycling.
