REPORT ON BIKE N BOAT TRIP FROM AVIGNON TO AIGUES-MORTES FROM 9/1 THRU 9/8
Both Josh and I were very pleased with the staff of the boat, in particular the steward. The steward, Marta, gave the travelers on the boat above and beyond what I am sure her job requirements were. She made sure everyone was happy with the food selection, paid particular attention to various travelers’ food tastes, and provided the travelers insight on various places we were would visiting.
Our only reservation was the bicycle tour guide. We felt he did a great job as the bicycle leader. He was very careful to ensure that all the cycle riders were not falling behind. He provided the riders with good descriptions of the level of difficulty of sections of the bike route. However, we felt he did not provide us with any information regarding tourist sites we visited. We were basically left on our own to explore. Also, we would have liked to have more time spent at some of the tourist sites -- in particular, Pont du Gard, Les Baux, and Arles.
Would this keep us from recommending your company to friends who are interested in a vacation like this. No, it would not. We would definitely recommend your company. Josh and I were both very pleased overall.
