You will cycle on minor roads and cycle ways. Gradients are expected on all tours, but you will be rewarded with a wonderful view and exciting descents.

You can find our suggestions for the nicest bike tours in the surroundings below. It is up to you, which ones you choose and combine...or if you do something completely different.

On your first day, you will be brought to the chocolate manufactory "Zotter" by transfer-bus. From there, you cycle through small villages and beautiful landscape on minor roads and the "Thermenland Cycle Path". Highlights on your way are castle Riedersburg and castle Kapfenstein.

Today, our transfer will bring you to the historic city Bad Radkersburg. A very lovely place in the city is the completely redesigned main square with a centuries-old Marian column und a beautiful fountain. You cycle along the river Mur to Stainz, where a fried-chicken-picnic is waiting for you. After the rest, you return to Bad Gleichenberg.

On your day off, you have the possibility to discover the historic spa town Bad Gleichenberg with all of its mansions. You can also enjoy some relaxing hours in the spa or visit some nearby sights (Zotter, Riegersburg,...).

On your 3rd tour you cycle from Szenegotthard in Hungary through the southern Burgenland and along the river Raab back to Bad Gleichenberg. It is a relaxing and varied stage, after which you will experience a wonderful evening in a typical Buschenschank (wine tavern selling proprietary, new wine).

Your last tour leads through the so-called "Tatschkerland" ("Tatschker" is a colloquial term for frog) and can be shortened if you want. Enjoy this tour and take a deep breath of the air of the Styrian thermal region one more time.
