Discover small, hidden bays for bathing and little fishing villages. Jump into crystal clear water and relax on the sun deck.

On your bike you pedal through sweet smelling woods and catch glimpses of the wonderful sea and the numerous small islands.

Route

Tour profile: level 2

The route mostly follows paved roads which are quiet if you avoid the holidays. The route does involve several relatively steep inclines. You should have a sound level of fitness. If you wish you can spend half or whole days on the ship and go swimming instead of cycling.

Day 1: Zadar - Vir, approx. 30 km/200 vertical metres by bike

Boarding between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. in Zadar. The guide will welcome you with a drink and a snack. In the afternoon bike tour to Nin via Kožino, Petrčane and Zaton and over a bridge to Vir on Vir island.

Day 2: Vir - Molat Island - Zverinac Island, approx. 20 km/ 250 vertical metres by bike

By boat to Molat island. Bike tour from Molat to Zapuntel and back. In the afternoon the boat takes you to Zverinac island.

Day 3: Zverinac - Dugi Otok Island approx. 30 km/530 vertical metres by bike

First, you go by boat to Božava on the island of Dugi Otok. Today’s cycle ride takes you to the lighthouse of Veli Rat and then on via Verunić, Božava and Dragove to Brbinj. Finally, the boat takes you to the Sali, the main town on Dugi Otok island.

Day 4. Dugi Otok island – Kornati islands – Šibenik, approx. 10 km /200 vertical metres by bike

The boat takes you to Sali on Dugi Otok island. Bike tour to the Telašćica nature park and back to Sali. By boat towards the Kornati islands national park and back to Šibenik.

Day 5: Sibenik - Skradin - Martinska - Vodice, approx. 10 km/400 vertical metres by bike

Boat trip on the Krka river to Skradin. Bike tour to the famous Krka waterfalls and back to Skradin. The boat takes you to Martinska harbour and you cycle to Vodice.

Day 6: Vodice - Murter Island, approx. 30 km/270 vertical metres by bike

Bike tour to the "Okit" lookout and to Tisno via Tribunj and Sovlje. Over the bridge to Murter island and to the Podvrške bay via Lovišća, Plitka Vala, Betina and Murter.

Day 7: Murter Island - Pasman Island - Ugljan Island - Zadar, approx. 30 km/290 vertical metres by bike

During breakfast the boat takes you to Tkon on Pašman island. From there by bike via Pašman, Neviđane, Dobropoljana and Ždrelac to the bridge that connects Pašman and Ugljan islands. On Ugljan island via Kali to Preko. In the afternoon by boat back to Zadar.

Day 8: Zadar

Individual departure. Disembarkation until 9 a.m.

With the Raleigh Dover Impulse 8 HS (8-gear bike with free-wheel) every bike tour is a breeze! If you had few opportunities to cycle over the last weeks or if you are not sure concerning your fitness, but also with physical disabilities, every bike ride is a treat! The shiftable, low noise electric drive of our modern electric bike relieves you of some of the work and increases the pedal force up to 3 times ... So you can now book a bike tour together with cyclists who have different fitness levels. Acclivity can be handled easily.

All Ebikes are fitted with panniers.

Note: E-bikes are a great development, but should be - due to their driving characteristics (high weight + high speed) - booked only by very safe and experienced cyclists with a very good sense of balance. Not suitable are electric bikes for people who rarely ride a bicycle.

ARRIVAL BY PLANE

Airport: Zadar (ZAD)
Zadar airport is located in Zemunik Donji in the near vicinity of the Zagreb-Split A1 highway connection (Zadar 2). It is about 9 km far from the centre of Zadar On arrival at Zadar Airport a taxi service is at your disposal. The taxies are parked near the bus stop. There is also a public transportation to Zadar city center.

ARRIVAL BY CAR
From the boarder of Slovenia the fastest way to Zadar is on the highway.

Parking: secured parking in Zadar, costs approx. 40 € /week. Parking space has to be reserved in advanced, payable locally (croatian Kuna)
