Cycling Via Claudia Augusta
We were enchanted with the forests, lakes and mountains all along the route from Augsburg in Germany to Lake Garda in Italy. There were so many experiences which we will never forget including a religious procession through the fields in Austria; riding alongside the lake and looking towards Neuschwanstein Castle; 6kms downhill from the Reschen Pass; deviating to see Otzi the Iceman at Bolzano; attending a beer festival at Auer; the dozens of historic churches and, finally, relaxing at Lake Garda at the end.
