July 2023 Vienna to Budapest
We had an excellent ride from Vienna to Budapest. We especially enjoyed the unexpected small towns in Slovakia. Komarno was so nice and uncrowned. These towns are small and it?s easy to see the old parts by walking around after a day on the bikes. The accommodations there were such a look back to the Communist 1950s or 1960s with an elegant bathtub and a bowling alley in the hotel lobby. It was also a joy to meet the others who were also following our route.
This is our second tour, last year was Berlin to Copenhagen, and we can say that there is no better way to see the countryside.
