This tour leads you around the eastern part of Lake Constance, which is called the "Upper Lake" or "Obersee". The most famous towns of Lake Constance will welcome you: Constance, Meersburg, Friedrichshafen, Lindau, Bregenz and Arbon. Relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape during your journey along the lakeshore. This tour is well-suited for families with kids.

The area is flat without any climbs. You mostly cycle on asphaltet cycle paths along the shore of the lake or along the lakeside roads. This tour is suitable for families with kids.
Individual arrival. Enjoy the fantastic city centre or the Sea Life Center in Constance.
Today, you will cycle to the flower island Mainau (tickts not included). You can go to the big adventure playground and visit the butterfly house. After that, you cycle to Wallhausen and take the ferry to Überlingen. After a short ride along the shore you reach Uhldingen.
In the morning, you can visit the lake dwelling museum where you can learn how people lived here a long time ago. Then you cycle to Immenstaad and further on to Friedrichshafen.
You can cycle today if you want, but the tour is quite hilly. Therefore you can easily take the bus (not incl.) from Friedrichshafen to the amusement park. Here you can enjoy your day, play and discover.
If you haven’t been in the Zeppelin museum yet, you can visit it today. The stretch to Lindau is not that long. Through orchards and the villages Langenargen and Kressbronn you cycle to the bavarian city Lindau.
From Lindau you will cycle directly along the lakeshore towards the drama festival town of Bregenz with its unique lakeside stage. Here you should take a first break and go to the Pfänder by cable car (incl.). Enjoy the wonderful view across the lake and visit the game park. After the cable car brought you down again, you continue to cycle and cross the border of Switzerland before you reach Rorschach or Arbon.
On the last stage of your trip, you will cycle back to Constance via Romanshorn. There, you should enjoy your last evening while visiting the old town or eating some ice cream near the harbour.

We rent comfortable unisex bikes in a variety of frame sizes to our guests, also men’s bikes from a body height of 1,75 m. Both models are available with a 8-speed hub gear and back-pedal brakes or 27-derailleur gears and free-wheel. All bikes are fitted with panniers, handlebar bag incl. map compartment, cyclometer, bike lock and repair kit.

For people who would like to have the support of a motor when they’re out and about, then we can recommend our stable and reliable e-bikes; Swiss and German quality brands. The bikes have 8 gears and free-wheel. The deep step-through frames and upright sitting position make sure that you really enjoy your cycling.
Airport: Friedrichshafen (FDH), Zürich (ZRH)
Zurich is the closest large airport and direct flights from Europe and Overseas are available. The Zurich airport has its own railway stop. Trains run frequently between Konstanz and Zurich (airport and city). It’s about 1 hour between the airport and Konstanz (approx. € 26,- p.P). Alternatively, you can fly into Friedrichshafen and take a 40 mins ferry across the lake.
Parking: private parking place in Constance, € 45,-/tour (reservation possible, then payable in advance), public parking places and garages or hotel parking places depending on the arrival hotel, approx. 10-20 € per day (no reservation possible, payable locally).

Triples/quadruples: Please note that triples/quadruples can only be booked for max. 2 adults. Triples/quadruples often are double rooms with extra beds (which might be folding or sofa beds).
We don’t offer half-board on this tour.
City or visitor’s tax, if payable + buse ride to Ravensburger Spieleland (approx. € 15,- per family) is not included in the travel price.
