Algarve starts flat then gets hilly
Overall, the Algarve tour was very nice with flat rides for the first three days followed by hilly rides for the last three days.
Unfortunately, Day 4 was mostly on busy roads with speeding cars. The first 15 KMs on day 5 was also on busy roads and then the route was calmer. The Day 5 hotel Luz Mar Villas was not very good - the Internet connection and air conditioning did not work well. In contrast, the Day 6 hotel Memmo Baleeira was fantastic.
The GPS device we rented froze on each of the last four days - the device required a hardware reset using a paper clip. We were lucky my we also downloaded the route to our phone, otherwise we would not have found the hotel on Day 3.
