Great Balance of Culture and Exercise
We wanted a trip that would allow us to touch the cultures of several countries, get some exercise and yet have freedom to do our own thing. This bike & barge trip offered all those things and at a reasonable price.
The quality of the food and the onboard staff were outstanding.
The travel ap was so-so. It cut out frequently and whenever you shut it down, would insist on downloading all the information again before re-opening. Since internet (both wifi and cellular) were spotty in places, sometimes the ap was simply useless. Fortunately the route planning book and local maps helped us out on most occasions when we couldn't access the net.
