Bike and Ship - Croatia Dalmatian Islands
Excellent trip in all respects - accommodation on board ship, food on board, size of group, cycling routes on the five islands, the tour leaders and the equipment provided. Trip included three tours of ports that we were docked at which were all excellent (great guides). Tour is actually delivered by Island Hopper so pre-tour information from Rad+Reisen didn't quite match to the Island Hopper information (length of the cycle day, meals provided on the day and ascent).
Highly recommend taking the e-bike option (all but 2 people out of 28 were on e-bikes). I tried a road bike on the first day and due to my fitness level (speed of e-bike) and extreme heat, I switched to an e-bike. They were thankfully able to accommodate this. Would have appreciated information before trip on where we were going to be on our own for dinner so we could have researched and made reservations. Finding dinner some nights proved to be a bit of a scramble due to it being high season. Kudos to boat staff who made the whole trip exceptional.
Rafting option for second last day was worth it, if they are able to dock the boat in Omi? then the bus trip will be so much shorter.
