Happy sunny cycling along the north Adriatic coast
We had a lovely sunny six-day cycle from Venice over to the east corner of Itally, Trieste, and then on down Slovenia to Pore? in Croatia. We also added a day to explore Venice - well worth it.
The weather was fabulous, the seafood was sublime, and the eBikes were much more powerful than expected, which meant we never had range anxiety!
The routes were all good although the first day was quite tough in terms of distance, but the second day was very easy to make up for it. We also had fun taking the ebikes on the small transfer ferry.
The navigation app (Guibo) was excellent but you DEFINITELY need a power bank to use it all day. Also a phone holder is preferable to having it your pocket. (Quad Lock make a very good one for about £25 which straps onto the handlebar with rubber bands.) These should be added to the requirements, or maybe Rad & Reisen could supply them as options. They're not expensive.
One other improvement would be the option to bring your own saddle, which would have been more comfortable. We would just need to know the bicycle stem size ahead of time.
Some information about shops mostly being closed on Monday would also be useful, since that's not true in the UK.
