Day 2: Halmstad – Falkenberg, approx. 60 km
Today you start your tour first to the most famous beach in Sweden: Tylösand. But not only this beach, but also the hotel of the same name is worth a visit. Your route takes you further north along the coast. The sea, open landscapes, exciting nature reserves and lush farmland lie along the route. You will pass Ugglarp, a small coastal community with its famous vegetable gardens and beautiful seaside resort. Today’s route takes you via Grimsholmen to Falkenberg, one of the oldest towns in the province of Halland.

Day 3: Falkenberg – Varberg, approx. 40 km
Look forward to picturesque fishing villages and many handicrafts today. In Träslövsläge you have the opportunity to feast on freshly cooked lobster. As you approach Varberg, the Varberg Fortress rises before you.

Day 4: Varberg – Kungsbacka, approx. 60-70 km
North of Varberg the landscape changes. The sandy beaches become rarer and more and more rocks appear. The first islands become visible. Along fields and horse farms you finally reach Kungsbacka, a cosy, small, former trading town with an impressive old town.

Day 5: Kungsbacka Gothenburg, approx. 40-65 km
Have you missed the sea? How good that it accompanies you again today. You pass Vallda and approach Särö, the entertainment centre of the bourgeois class in Gothenburg of the last century. After Särö you continue cycling along the former railway line, always at a distance from the sea. Rocks, lush forests, bays and harbours also line your path before you reach Gothenburg.

Day 6: Gothenburg
After breakfast individual departure. We are happy to extend your stay in Gothenburg with an archipelago stay or additional nights.

Route Helsingborg – Gothenburg (8 days)

Day 2: Helsingborg Ängelholm, approx. 60 km
Your day starts along the beach promenade in Helsingborg and soon you pass Sofiero Castle with its beautiful park. This is a blooming oasis and was voted the most beautiful park in Europe in 2010. Continue through picturesque fishing villages and small harbours. Marvel at the world-famous ceramics in Höganäs. The stage continues along the Kulla peninsula to Ängelholm.

Day 3: Ängelholm Halmstad, approx. 75-95 km
From Ängelholm you follow the coast to Vejbystrand. You cycle through open meadows and several small coastal communities. In Magnarp’s harbour there is a nice little fish restaurant with a breathtaking sea view. You leave the coast and cycle across the peninsula and through the Sinarpsdalen valley to the beautiful summer town of Båstad, a renowned tennis metropolis.
