A holiday by bike offers great outdoor experience away from the crowds, and due to fair distance, also a high degree of safety.
Despite COVID19, numerous hotel and boat bike tours took place already last summer.
Particularly on our ships, we paid meticulous attention to the physical distancing regulations. Due to generally applicable hygiene rules, crews are especially trained and sensitized. Despite strict hygiene regulations, our guests’ holiday experience was not affected. We have been able to protect all of our guests well and have not recorded a single case of infection.

Your holiday is still in the best hand with us, we attach great importance to your safety and health.

Already in everyday operation on cruise ships special attention is paid to cleanliness and hygiene standards - far beyond the usual level. Due to the current situation the existing measures are tightened again, further cleaning and disinfection cycles are carried out in the cabins and public areas, additional disinfection devices are provided.

Currently our shipping companies are working together with authorities and specialists to develop a comprehensive hygiene and health concept in order to implement the current safety measures and distancing regulations for our guests and crew. We are continually monitoring the requirements of the authorities in the various countries as they constantly being adapted.

Due to increased hygiene measures, day visitors are not permitted until further notice. We try to reduce the number of external partners on our ships to a minimum and to arrage the handling outside the ship.

If a ship lies directly next to another ship we ensure that no other guests pass through the ship, but rather cross-over the ship via the sundeck (if possbile).

We will try not be running full capacity for the coming months which will create more space and distance in public areas.

Leading health authorities strongly recommend taking the same measures that apply to a typical flu season. These include for example:

  • Avoid close contact with people who whow signs of illness, including coughing or sneezing.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water at least 20 seconds.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, mouth and nose with unwashed hands.
  • Use an alcohol-based hand disinfectant containing at least 60% alcohol whenever soap and water are not available.
