At the invitation of our long-standing Dutch partner, our two employees, Marijana and Doris, traveled to Germany for a FAM trip aboard the MS Arkona.

Those days in June offered the perfect opportunity to get to know the ship, as it was in the middle of its crossing from the Netherlands to Germany. At the start of the season, the MS Arkona was operating on the Holland-South route before moving along the Rhine to Germany.

Before the first voyage of the Rhine & Moselle tour aboard the MS Arkona, the two, along with other partners, were able to cycle from Cologne to Bonn the next day after a city tour of Cologne and its imposing cathedral. With the right gear, the group managed the ride even in persistent drizzle. After a short tour of Bonn’s old government district, they returned to the ship in the early afternoon, where they were treated to a culinary feast before continuing their journey down the Rhine to Andernach.

In the early morning hours, the MS Arkona sailed on to Koblenz, where they explored the picturesque historic old town, the impressive fortress, and the Deutsches Eck.
