Day 2: Krimml/Wald – Mittersill/Stuhlfelden, approx. 30-35 km

Via Rosental you ride to Neukirchen onward towards to Habachtal, famous for its find spots of emeralds, to Bramberg (museum of local history). The local museum of Mittersill, the principal town of Oberpinzgau, is also well worth paying a visit.

Day 3: Mittersill/Stuhlfelden – Zell am See/Kaprun, approx. 30 km

You travel via Neukirchen through the Habachtal valley, known for its emerald findings, to Bramberg (Museum of local history). It is also worthwhile to visit the museum of local history in Mittersill. You arrive in Piesendorf via Uttendorf and Niedernsill. Here the Europa-Sport region Kaprun/Zell am See begins, with the glacier ski area at Kitzsteinhorn.

You leave the upper Salzachtal valley and now follow the river course of the Saalach. You travel through the wide valley basin of Saalfelden and the famous pilgrimage place Maria Alm in the direction of Lofer. The Seisenbergklamm (gorge) and the Lamprechtshöhle cave are natural monuments worth seeing on your way to today’s stage destination.

Day 5: Lofer – Salzburg, approx. 50 km

The Saalach River breaks through the „Steinerne Meer“ in an impressive way at Unken. By continuing to follow along the river bank you will reach the „small German corner“, with the health resort Bad Reichenhall and the vast plain of the Salzburg basin. The journey continues through the Saalachauen meadows to the Mozart city Salzburg.

Bicycle

Bicycles inclusive panniers

Following bikes are available:

  • Unisex bike with Nuvinci transmission
  • E-Bikes

The NuVinci CVT special gear system (correspond to a 27 speed bike) uses a set of rotating balls and also tilting balls in a transmission. Tilting the balls changes their contact diameters and varies the speed ratio. As a result, the NuVinci CVT system offers seamless and continuous transition to any ratio within its range.

The offered bikes are touring bikes with an aluminium frame and kitted with responsive brakes and gears. Plus: comfort gel saddles, flat-palmed grips, Schwalbe Marathon anti-puncture tyres. All bikes are equipped with a pannier (saddle bag) and a handlebar bag/per room.

E-bikes | Electrical bikes | Pedelecs

With an electro bike every bike tour is a breeze! If you had few opportunities to cycle over the last weeks or if you are not sure concerning your fitness, but also with physical disabilities, every bike ride is a treat! The shiftable, low noise electric drive of our modern E-bike relieves you of some of the work and increases the pedal force up to 3 times ... So you can now book a bike tour together with cyclists who have different fitness level. Acclivity can be handled easily.
