Day 1: Constance

Individual arrival

Day 2: Constance – Stein am Rhein region, approx. 30-40 km

In the picturesque town of Gottlieben you cross the border and on the Swiss side you arrive in the beautiful town of Stein am Rhein. The charm of this medieval town will immediately captivate you. Take time for a visit to the Lindwurm Museum. An impressive drive along the High Rhine leads you to Gailingen. A highlight is the Rhine crossing from Diessenhofen to Gailingen with the historic wooden bridge from 1816.

Day 3: Stein am Rhein region – Rhine Falls – Stein am Rhein region, approx. 40-50 km

Immerse yourself today in the magic of the Munot town of Schaffhausen. A unique town with medieval facades, magnificent 171 oriels and the winding alleys. The Rhine Cycle Path will then take you to the next highlight. Do not miss the impressive natural phenomenon of the Rhine Falls. At 23 meters high and 150 meters wide, it is one of the largest waterfalls in Europe.

Day 4: Stein am Rhein region – Bodman/ Radolfzell region, approx. 35-50 km

The peninsula "Höri" is located between Stein am Rhein and Radolfzell and numerous artists such as Otto Dix, Hermann Hesse, Helmuth Macke have also given it the name artist landscape. The Hesse Museum in Gaienhofen, the Hermann Hesse Haus and the Museum Haus Dix pay tribute to the once famous inhabitants. End the day with a stroll through the old town of Radolfzell. The fishing village of Radolfzell enchants with its charming flair and the unique view of the Untersee.

Day 5: Bodman/ Radolfzell region – Friedrichshafen region, approx. 40-60 km

Pass the picturesque Sipplingen and the monastery church Birnau. In Unteruhldingen we recommend a visit to the pile-dwelling museum. Day 6: Friedrichshafen region – Bregenz/Höchst, approx. 35-45 km

Today you reach the Lake Constance metropolis Lindau, the border triangle between Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Visit the old town and the lighthouses with the lion’s pier, Lindau’s landmark. Afterwards, you will arrive in the cultural stronghold of Bregenz. Stroll through the old town or take the cable car to the 1064 m high P fänder and enjoy the unique view of Lake Constance. Through the nature reserve of the Rhine Delta, the largest freshwater delta in Europe, you will reach Höchst.
