Welcome on board of CLAIR DE SOLEIL!
The Clair de Soleil was built in 1910 as a cargo ship and converted into a passenger ship around the year 2000. Since 2026, the ship has been owned by Marco Pouw and Astrid Schweers, who also own the Clair d’Etoile and the Clair de Lune. In the winter of 2026/27, the ship will undergo extensive renovation and modernization.
The Clair de Soleil sails under the Dutch flag and is operated by a Dutch management team, primarily on German rivers. It can accommodate up to 28 guests.
Facilities
The upper deck features a cozy lounge with a dining area, bar, and separate seating area. Large panoramic windows offer a magnificent view of the passing scenery. The lounge is equipped with air conditioning, heating, and Wi-Fi.
At the front of the ship, an outdoor area with seating invites guests to relax. Here, guests can enjoy the river scenery while sipping a drink.
