Equipment

In 2000, the La Mar (formerly Fiep) was converted from a cargo ship into a modern and spacious passenger ship, which is used especially for bicycle and boat trips in the Netherlands and Belgium. The ship was completely renovated in the winter of 2012/2013. 

There are two decks, with the upper deck containing the saloon, a spacious seating area with widescreen TV, a cozy bar and a large sun deck. WLAN (Wi-Fi) is available. The sun deck is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or an aperitif. The air-conditioned restaurant area is located on the lower deck, where meals of excellent quality are served.

Cabins

The La Mar has twelve comfortable cabins on the lower deck. Ten two-person cabins (10m²) with two separate single beds and two two-person cabins (8m²) with “split-level” beds (“over corner”, 1 bed slightly higher). These two cabins can also be used as single cabins; the upper bed is then folded up. Each cabin has a shower, WC and washbasin. The windows can be opened and there is central heating and air conditioning in the room. There is also a small safe and a hairdryer in each cabin.
