Ship LEAFDE FAN FRYSLAN

Welcome aboard the LEAFDE FAN FRYSLÂN!

Facilities

The imposing LEAFDE FAN FRYSLÂN made its maiden voyage for Sail & Bike travel in 2018 and is managed by its owners-operators, Joris and Rinske de Wit.

The interior of this ship can best be described as refined. Tasty meals are taken in the restaurant and the ship’s cosy bar is fully stocked. The wheelhouse is equipped with a well-appointed seating area and the best view over the water are available here and on deck.

In the winter of 2023/24, the large sailing ship will be cut in two pieces and a new 14-meter section will be added. An additional fourth mast will also be erected. This will make the Leafde Fan Fryslân 2024, with a length of 64 meters, the only four-masted schooner in Dutch waters. Below deck, 3 new cabins will be built and (uniquely!) on the upper deck, four beautiful upper deck suites, each with a double sliding glass door and a small private balcony. This will increase passenger capacity from 25 to 38 guests. The entire ship will be equipped with air conditioning.
