Facilities

The SIMMER FAN FRYSLÂN was built in 1932 as a cargo ship, completely renovated in 2006, and will join our fleet in 2026 as a beautiful/elegant three-masted schooner sailing Dutch waters.

On deck, there is an atmospheric maritime-style restaurant with a well-stocked bar, where lovingly prepared meals are served daily. The warm wood paneling and stylish furnishings create a welcoming atmosphere. Wi-Fi is available on board. At the front of the ship is the deckhouse with an additional lounge and access to several cabins. A staircase leads to the wheelhouse, which is equipped with seating for guests – ideal for enjoying the view in bad weather. Additional outdoor seating is available at the stern of the ship.

Catering

Catering includes full board consisting of breakfast buffet, packed lunch for bike tours, coffee and tea in the afternoon, and a 3-course dinner.

Kabinen

The following cabins are available:

Below deck there are twelve spacious and comfortable twin cabins (11–13 m²), equipped with two single beds (most of which can be pushed together) and a desk.
Four cabins have a third fold-down bed and can therefore accommodate three guests.

Each cabin has its own bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink. You will also find a hairdryer, a safe, sufficient power sockets, storage space, ventilation, and central heating. The portholes cannot be opened, but most cabins have a skylight for fresh air; two cabins have an additional ventilation system.
