Willkommen an Bord der AVE MARIA Portegrandi!
The Ave Maria Portegrandi is an elegant, state-of-the-art river cruise ship built in Italy and designed for the quiet waterways between Mantua, Venice, and Grado. It combines technological innovation with environmental awareness: thanks to its 36-kWp photovoltaic modules and 340-kWh batteries, the use of a diesel generator is almost unnecessary, enabling quiet and low-emission cruising.
Facilities
Breakfast and dinner are served in the cozy dining room with large panoramic windows offering a 270° view. Next to the dining room is a relaxation area with a coffee, cappuccino, and hot chocolate machine available all day, a large selection of board games, books, and travel guides, an 80-inch multimedia screen, and free Wi-Fi. The sun deck, equipped with tables, chairs, and lounge chairs, is the perfect place to enjoy the cruise, dine al fresco, and chat with your new travel companions.

Catering
Fresh local ingredients and traditional recipes are prepared by the chefs with care and passion. There is a wide selection of Italian wines to accompany the daily specials. Just like the wine, the coffee is also carefully selected: a professional coffee machine, operating around the clock, serves guests artisanal coffee. The coffee is produced according to an old Neapolitan tradition and packaged by Cooperativa Lazzarelle, a cooperative founded in 2010 in the largest women’s prison in Pozzuoli (Naples).
