Welcome on board of MARE FRISIUM!
Facilities
The “Mare Frisium,” named after the historic “Frisian Sea” in the north of the Netherlands, is a classic three-masted schooner that was originally launched in 1916. In 1995, the ship was beautifully restored and converted into a comfortable passenger sailing vessel. Today, the Mare Frisium combines authentic maritime character with modern comfort and offers its guests a unique sailing experience on the water.
On the lower deck, guests have access to two stylish and cozy salons with comfortable seating areas, including one salon with a bar. The spacious sun deck offers several outdoor seating areas – ideal for relaxing with a drink and enjoying the scenery during the cruise.
As soon as weather conditions permit, the crew is happy to set sail and turn off the engine to provide a genuine sailing experience. Guests are warmly invited to actively participate in sailing the ship. With an impressive sail area of 634 m², sailing aboard the Mare Frisium is an unforgettable experience.
