Very enjoyable tour of Lake Constance
Our cycle group thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Lake Constance. We felt it was well priced, and throughout the run up to the tour communication was very good and any queries were answered promptly. On the tour itself we were very happy with the bikes provided. The accommodation and breakfasts were very good, the location of the hotels was good (aone occasion we would have preferred not to be so far from the lake). We enjoyed visiting local sights en route, in particular the castle above Stein am Rhein, the Pile Dwelling museum, Insel Mainau and the Pfänder cable car. The cycle route itself was well signposted and we were able to follow the GPS routes provided with ease. However, there was no route description in English provided for those without GPS , only German, which we were not happy about. However, as we mostly rode as one group this didn`t prove to be a disadvantage, but I do feel it is something the company needs to do something about for future English clients.
