My battle with an underpowered ebike too heavy to lift even a centimetre.
We enjoyed our tour very much despite the very very heavy bikes. The motor cut out twice on steep hills and I fell off. The bike was too heavy to get upright again and I had to wait for someone to help me. All our hotels were very good, but 2 of them were too far away from restaurants, not a good idea ,when it was Ruhetag at our hotel. In Chieming we had to cycle 1,5 kilometres in the rain and the dark to get an evening meal. The route was excellent and varied. We enjoyed the visit to Herren Island and visited King Ludwig II palace. We also enjoyed our visit to Hellbrunn on our last day. We had visited previously 59 and 36 years ago. It was interesting to see the changes. We have used this company 8 times before, but I am not sure I can book again, as I am 81 years old, I need an e bike but cannot manage the weight of those provided.
