Overall a very enjoyable bike tour.
In the main, we really enjoyed this tour. A few issues which would have improved it even further are:
1. There was no front storage carrier on the handlebars of our bikes. Had we known this we would have brought our own.
2. We were advised to bring our own drink bottles which we did but there was no carrier for the drink bottles on the bike which meant stopping everytime we wanted a drink.
3. The Ride with GPS App and provided route instructions was excellent but on other tours we have done, there were personalised route instructions which were specific to the hotels we were booked into. This was much more convenient than the system in this bike trip, of a common starting point and finishing point with separate guides to/from the hotels we were staying at.
4. At the initial briefing we were told that there would be charging points for the e-bikes at every hotel and that it would be unnecessary to remove the batteries to charge them in our rooms. This turned out not to be true at two of the hotels we stayed at. Fortunately because my wife has an e-bike we knew how to remove the battery and replace it, but if this was not the case, it would have been tricky not to have been shown at the briefing how to remove and replace the batteries.
