Firstly, the ride was amazing, accommodation and meals were very good, and the route took in some amazing scenery and destinations I wouldn´t have normally visited.

Printed guidebooks and all documentation given to us by Fun Active in Villach were all in German, not English as we had requested. I emailed Fun Active on 24May, and they replied on the following day with a wetransfer file with the online version of the printed guidebook. Guidebook had limited information on each day´s route and maps were too small to be of any use.

On the same day I emailed regarding the gears on the men´s bike which did not engage in all gears. Fun Active advised to take it to the repair shop but as the shops opened after 9am each day I persevered as did not want to interrupt tour to take to workshop to be looked it. This should have been checked before bikes were left at Villach for our collection at beginning of tour.
Tour overview provided by Rad+Reisen says it will be mostly on cycle paths or on very quiet roads. Not exactly accurate as some roads in Slovenia were quite busy with no bike lane or space on side of road or emergency shoulder. Some of the unpaved roads and lanes had very loose gravel and large rocks. The Top Bike would have been better suited as the bikes we had were very heavy. I would not recommend this tour to a first-time rider or inexperienced rider.
Baggage on 28May was delivered at 7pm. No advice was given to us directly from Fun Active even thought they had our contact details. The reception at the Maestoso Hotel in Lipica were very helpful and followed this up for us. Not the worst thing in the world to happen but we were wanting to have an early dinner and had to wait for our bags to be delivered so we could change into clean cloths.

On day 6 between Postojna to Pipizza you are given the option to shorten the route by taking the train from Pivka to Divaca. The other person I was travelling with chose this option and I chose to ride. The Guibo App shows both Pivka and Divaca stations on the route and the App took us past Pivka station where I left my travelling partner. I then continued to follow the route via the Guibo App which does not take you into Divaca or via Divaca Train Station. I take you on the around Divaca via Dolnje Le?e?e. I followed the route via the App and it wasn´t until I got to Lokev that I stopped to check Google Maps and realised that the route I was following did not go into Divaca. I then had to follow Google Maps back into Divaca to meet my travelling companion, this added approx. 18 kms to my days ride. No where in the documentation provided does it say that you won´t be going into Divaca and both Divaca and Divaca Stations are shown on the day´s itinerary in the Guibo App. When we left Divaca Station the Guibo App had a route which guided you back to the main route which started in Dolnje Le?e?e and then told you that you were back on the main route.
*It should be noted that if one rider chooses to take the train and the other chooses to ride the one choosing to ride would need to follow this alternate route to take them into Divaca Station to meet their travelling companion.

At Pivka the path was blocked at Park of Military History by a locked gate at both ends of the short cut thru the carpark. I checked my location twice to make sure I had followed the route correctly which I had. I then turned around and went on the road to then rejoin the path at which time I could see that I had left to path on the map of the Guibo App.
