410km cycle from Bavaria to the Italian riviera
Great trip , with fantastic scenery and views.
Very hilly first 3 days , hard work but satisfying!
Some lovely cycle tracks but quite a lot of the route was on roads , which were mainly quiet with a couple of busy roads which probably could not be avoided.
The tracks in Italy were sometimes a bit rough and not as well maintained as those in Austria.
Overall a fantastic adventurous trip especially seeing the changing landscape as you travel south.
The description of the tour on day 3 included a cycle on a main road , which we did not have to do as the transport took us directly to our hotel. This was good as the road was very busy and would have been too dangerous to cycle on . This just needs to be stated in the description.
Looking forward to our next trip already
