MS Lisabelle Iron Gate Tour Experience
The MS Lisabelle crew members were a main highlight of the Iron Gates tour. Chan in Dining, Marcel and Etyu in the Lounge, Andy at Reception, our room attendant CeCa, and Luka and the bike crew all ensured we had a pleasurable time and solved any issues that arose.
Dining was a pleasure. Menus varied each evening and never repeated.
Daily rides were well planned, and the routes provided a great experience of the countries visited. The bikes were well-used but usable.
The tour itinerary route app provided an outstanding guide for each day`s ride. Routing and highlights were easy to follow. The Danube routes are, for the most part, absolutely wonderful.
Cruise Director Claudia could use an experienced English-speaking cyclist to participate in and provide route briefings. The daily briefings could have been much shorter and focused on possible route difficulties and changes.
The MS Lisablelle public address system was worthless and should be replaced. The system kept cutting out during use, and the volume control was stuck at high. Every briefing took "forever" because so many of the cut-out words had to be repeated.
