Overall we were very pleased with our cycle tour. The information and navigation app provided was excellent. The condition of the bikes was very good and were well equipped. Fortunately the weather was superb and of the 36 bike tours we have done over the years we consider this to be one of the prettiest.
The accommodations ranged from satisfactory to well above expectations. Some of the hotels were located quite far from the historic centre of the towns and restaurants; specifically Landsburg Am Lech and Meran. Hotel Stocker in St Valentin a.d. Haide and Hotel Olivo in Brentino Veronese were somewhat disappointing in that there was little to see or do in the area.
The shuttle service and luggage transfers worked well.
