The Danube
We began in Passau, getting our bicycles, excitement building, and curious minds ready to go! We cycled mostly on pathways, viewing castles, homes, villages, vineyards, churches, and of course the great Danube River. Ferry boats and bridges kept the excitement high and beauty never ending. The weather was nearly ideal every day, route finding was sometimes challenging in towns, but pathways were mostly well marked and/or described in the guidebook. A couple of side trips made the days complete and memories never to be forgotten. Vienna was a most amazing city to finish up in! We would perhaps enjoy Vienna to Budapest for our next adventure.
