Back in Germany after 50 years on a bike!!!!!
As we had never cycled more than 14 klms ever, I wondered if we had bitten more than we could chew. No worries!
Everyday we would set off {with clever riders who could read the map) we bought beautiful weather from Australia, and it was joyful to be riding thru the countryside. We got lost a couple of times,but not for long, and found the Bratislava ride one of the hardest,. More concrete city than bike trails but we did it.
Our best day was the last from Krems to Melk. Riding thru those little villages was lovely. I actually thought it would be all like that.
The worse thing to happen, was that we lost our camera in Passau at the train station and all our photos. Friends we made on the boat are sending us theirs, but its not the same.
