guided cycling tour from Bolzano to Venice via Lake Garda
The guided version of the tour lets you enjoy the route’s awesome scenery through the Adige River valley without worrying about getting lost or mechanical breakdown. The guide also provides a cultural connection with the local communities and taking rest/lunch stops at personally chosen spots. The family run wine tasting spot was a particular high light of the trip where we were treated to a welcoming Italian hospitality. Bought a bottle of wine that was transported to the hotel. The gelato stop was so so. I had better in Trento (Via Giuseppe Grazioli, 8, 38122 ) with a harder version where each scoop was "turned" over and pressed several times before adding to the cone, and the fruit variety had a much more intense rich flavour that tasted oh so good on a real hot day. The meals were generally good but you didn’t have a choice and the bottled water (and coffee) should be part of the meal and not charged separately along with alcoholic drinks. Recommend providing a list of names and corresponding countries (e-mail optional) of the group participants including the leader at the welcome meeting.
