Hello! We had a great vacation! We really appreciated the convenience of staying in the same room every night! Made traveling with baby Heidi way easier. We really enjoyed the route and variety of terrain and scenery for this tour. My favourite day was the last day through Austria. Beautiful natural scenery and great weather too. Because we had Heidi with us we did not do much extra sight seeing but might save it for another time. The staff on board were excellent. I cannot say enough about how helpful and friendly they were. They all seemed like genuinely wonderful people :) Andreas the guide was wonderful as well. We knew he would help us with whatever we needed. To improve your tour for future guests, I suggest focusing on the coffee and food quality. The coffee in the morning was very disappointing. Instant coffee is not good. For the price of the tour, better coffee in the morning should be provided (included) and we should not have to buy a latte or cappuccino just to have a decent cup. A good cup of drip coffee would be just great. Europe has delicious coffee and to have bad instant coffee on the boat was disappointing. In general, the food was very nicely presented and was prepared as well as possible, however we didn’t find the quality of the food (ingredients) to be great (eg frozen vegetables). We might have preferred the option to not have dinner included and have the chance to explore local restaurants. Another area that wouldn’t cost rad and reisen much but would improve guest experience greatly would be to provide constantly available free drinking water in dispensers. Large jugs/dispensers of water such as a 40 liter water cooler would be ideal, especially as this is a cycling trip and your guests need water. Buying water was an annoyance. It would also be better for the environment to provide one reusable water bottle to each guest (or not even, people could use their own bottles) and then have a large dispenser that the guests could use Use to Refill their bottles, rather than providing a small disposable bottle daily. You might even save money doing it with s big dispenser instead. We really enjoyed our time with you and would consider booking with rad and reisen again if we are looking to do a supported bike tour again. Thanks for the great memories.
