Flat ride
The terrain on this trip is very flat, often along the top of dikes. This leaves you exposed to the sun and any wind which may be blowing. We had to reroute several times due to the low water this year requiring the ship to moor at locations different from those in the literature. This required alternate routes to be chosen and on one of those routes, two ferries which should have been running were also grounded causing some head-scratching to get to our destination. Overall a good trip, but the AC in the boat could use an overhaul as even when it cooled off at night the room stayed warm.
