I enjoyed the boat cycle tour. Each day was an interesting experience, food was good , staff pleasant and helpful, room was good . I did not like the bikes nearly as much. Found them heavy but low gear worked for the modest hills we encountered . The seat was too wide for me and I developed rather severe chafing despite wearing good bike shorts. Wish I had brought my own seat from home.
One of our party took ill and had to be hospitalized. Hotel manager very helpful in getting treatment I left the ship for a day to be with my friends but returned to complete tour with help from Rad REISEN staff . Much appreciated.
Booked a train ticket through Rad Reisen. Don’t do that. Cheaper options especially if travelling with others. I still have it and can’t use it.
